Here are some common questions to help you get started:

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, appointments are required for bridal and bridesmaids shopping, alterations, and pickups (since you may need to try on your gown). As a small boutique, our dressing rooms fill up quickly- we want to give you our full attention and the best experience possible!

What do I need know before my appointment?

Arrive on time: Late arrivals may shorten your appointment- we want you to try on all the beautiful gowns!

Wear nude undergarments: Some gowns are sheer; nude undergarments help with privacy and fit.
 

Spray tans: Please wash off tanning products at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to protect our gowns.
 

Cancellations/rescheduling: Please provide 24-48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

What should I expect during my bridal appointment?

Duration: 90 minutes
 

First 10 minutes: Meet your consultant, share your wedding vision, and tour the gowns.
 

Next 60 minutes: Try on up to 6 dresses, receive personalized selections, and narrow it down.
 

Last 20 minutes: Choose your dream dress, take measurements, and celebrate with photos & boomerangs down our infamous aisle!


Want more time? Weekday appointments allow for up to 2 hours - perfect for brides who want to preview styles in advance.
 

Who can I bring with me?

We offer seating for up to 8 guests plus the bride. More guests are welcome if they’re okay standing. Please confirm your guest count at least 24 hours in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Are children allowed?

To ensure a peaceful and focused experience, we kindly ask that children under 8 years old not attend appointments.

Tipping & Our Approach

At our boutique, we believe your bridal experience should feel genuine, supportive, and completely centered on you. That’s why our stylists are not commission-based - we want you to feel confident knowing that every recommendation is made with your vision, style, and budget in mind. Our only goal is to help you find the dress you’ve been dreaming of, without pressure or influence.

Because our team isn’t commission-driven, some brides ask if gratuity is appropriate. While tipping is never expected, it is always a kind way to show appreciation for your stylist’s time, care, and expertise. If you’d like to leave a gratuity, many brides follow a 3% - 15% range based on the level of service and time invested in the experience. Cash, card, or digital transfers (Venmo, Zelle, etc.) are all welcomed.

Not every thank-you has to be monetary. A heartfelt note, a review, or sharing photos of your big day with us also means the world to our team.

Your wedding dress journey is one of the most meaningful parts of the planning process, and we’re honored to be a part of it.

Alterations

Yes! We offer in-house alterations through our sister company, Tailored Belle.


Recommended start: 3-4 months before your wedding
 

Bring with you: Wedding shoes and undergarments

Alterations are a normal and expected part of the bridal process. Every bride’s body is unique, and tailoring ensures that your gown fits you like it was made just for you.

On average, alterations can range anywhere from $300-$800, though the final cost may be more or less depending on what needs to be done. Factors like hem length, bust adjustments, strap changes, or adding custom details can all affect the total.

When planning your bridal budget, it’s helpful to set aside funds not just for your dress, but also for alterations. Think of it as the finishing touch that transforms your gown from “beautiful” to perfectly yours.

Payment Options

Bridal gowns: 50% due at order, 50% at dress arrival
 

Bridesmaids dresses: Paid in full at time of order
 

Layaway available upon request for special cases

Order time: 4–7 months
 

Alterations: Add 2–4 months
